Cabo San Lucas

We don’t have as much time to do any serious traveling anymore, now that Natalie needs to attend school regularly. Thus, we opted to try a quick week trip to Cabo San Lucas, for Natalie’s presidents week break. The flight is only 2 1/2 hours, so that was ideal. The beaches were nice, however, Natalie got stung by a jellyfish on her first day in the water. That didn’t stop her from having fun or from trying out para-sailing. She was quite excited to be able and see a sea turtle swimming below her from way up in the sky. We grew tired of the resort lifestyle pretty quickly though, and opted to go to a secluded beach where we were all alone accept for the whales playing nearby. We also loved the “divorce beach” on the other side of Lover’s Beach. Here is a sketch from our Cabo trip.

Santa Barbara Houses

Another visit to beautiful Santa Barbara. I love how the houses just seem to dot the mountains. Here is a sketch that has that Mediterranean feel.
