From the Alps and the Cote d’Azur, to Catalonia and the Cinque Terre, we are continuing to work and play in Europe. While we seem to bring problems with us whenever we attempt to travel by train, we have been very fortunate to have been blessed with great weather wherever we go. Even if it rains, it is usually at night, and leaves us a nice dusting of snow on the surrounding mountaintops. Natalie was able to feed goats and learn how to ride a bike in Switzerland. Kate has been able to experience a true Creperia in France, while I have been able to digest great wine with my olives and cheese in Provence. We were spoiled in the South of France when we met family and friends at an amazing party in Beaulieu Sur Mer and were blown away by the generosity of our hosts. We experienced the great beaches of Sitges where my daughter learned about European dress codes and where I had to explain that we were going to eat Tapas and not topless. Finally, we are off to Italy, to enjoy Natalie’s favorite food of caprese salads and pasta with parmesan, and where I learned that focaccia can be eaten any time of the day.
