Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! It’s funny how easily you forget how spoiled we are with our Southern California weather. It is back up to 72 degrees today, Natalie is playing tennis outside, and I’m gonna take a dip in the pool, but more importantly, perhaps we can finally stop hearing about how cold it is outside. For the last 7 days, our local news media has been crying about the “arctic blast”. It is true that the other day we reached a low of 24 and it only warmed up to 51 degrees in the afternoon, but seriously, this is why all the other states think we are so wimpy. We are complaining about frost while other people are happy to get out of the negative degrees. Anyway, here are a few local paintings that I completed, where I had to wear a hat, have a cup of hot coffee, and even wear socks and shoes, rather than wear my normal outfit of shorts and flip flops.
