Creating in Colorado

Bells and Sunflowers

We were off again to Colorado for our annual trip to Aspen and to drop Natalie off for her summer camp. This year would be a month long summer camp, so along with the 2 weeks together as a family, my wife would be spending the entire month by my side without the distractions of a kid. What would we do with all that alone time? There would be a lot of hiking, a lot of looking at wildflowers, a lot of painting and a lot of sneezing from all of the aforementioned wildflowers. Aspen is always lovely this time of year, and the music festival is one of our favorites. It is also always great to see everyone at the Elliott Yeary Gallery. They do such a great job representing my work. We also took the time this year to explore Breckenridge and Copper Mountain. While we knew that Natalie was having an amazing time with all of her activities, from archery and horseback riding, to dances and summiting a 14,036 foot mountain, we sure did miss her and her enthusiasm.
